Concept
Face coefficient of restitution, head volume, moment of inertia, and shaft length. Over a more than 10-year period, the introduction of many new rules has placed considerable constraints on carry distance.
But have we reached the limit of how far carry can be increased?
NEXGEN clubs answer a resounding “No” to that question.
The EI-F. Shaft and its unique, no-flex hardness distribution unlock the hidden potential of the golfer to convey unprecedented speed and power to the ball.
A long-hitting driver that can help you achieve a new personal best — the NS210.
Technology
EI-F. Shaft
A unique distribution of hardness generates huge power in the backswing and transmits power through a kick that rebounds strongly after flexing. This original design goes beyond the conventional concept of high, medium, and low kick points, using the flex of amateur shafts to achieve both power and speed.
Build overwhelming energy
like a pro then release it through
a powerful kickback
Strong flex near the hands builds energy naturally like a pro—without you having to think about it
Hardness in the shaft’s center portion generates powerful kickback that releases stored energy at the point of impact
β-titanium + Hexa Wire Face
The face is made from ZAT158, a type of beta-titanium with very high toughness. The Hexa Wire Face creates a wide rebound area while still keeping the rebound within regulations for beta-titanium, which is known for being a “banned material.” The hardness in the face’s center and the surrounding areas creates a massive impact.
WEIGHT DISTRIBUTION DESIGN
A bold design distributes weight to produce greater moment of inertia without increasing the overall weight of the head. The construction of the variable sleeve, which moves unfavorably in center-of-gravity designs that tend to increase weight, has been changed. Lower weight was achieved by securing it above and below.。
With a head weighing only 193 g (at 10.5°) this club generates an incredible 5,100 g・cm2 of moment of inertia, giving you faster swings while preventing mis-hits.
Carbon Crown
It utilizes the carbon crown of the NEXGEN ND001 (a third-gen club released in 2010), which produces great moment of inertia and low center of gravity.
Face Milling
To further improve the strong rebound performance of the beta-titanium, the center of the face has been scored with lines, making it thinner. Face milling has been applied to reduce slippage in wet conditions.
Trajectory Adjustment
To improve fit, a new trajectory adjustment feature has been added.
